Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late. 

Change at Martin Place, Central or Sydenham for a T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line service to Carlton.

The closest station to the stadium is Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. The stadium is a short 10-minute walk from the station. 

To help you get to and from the match, the following trains will make an extra stop at Carlton:  

• All T4 Illawarra Line trains between 3.30pm and 9.30pm. 
• The 1.56pm and 3.05pm Kiama to Bondi Junction train. 
• The 7.13pm and 8.13pm Bondi Junction to Kiama train.  

Trackwork 

Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 23 May on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner. 

• T1 Western Line: Early morning or late-night Richmond trains run between Richmond and Central, platforms 1-14 only, making extra stops at Granville and Auburn. From 6.30am to 10.30am, trains make extra stops at Burwood.
• T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park. Change at: Cabramatta for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford and Merrylands, or Lidcombe for trains towards Granville or T1 Western Line stations. From 6.30am to 10.30am, Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle only. Leppington trains make extra stops at Homebush and Croydon.  
• T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City. You may need to change trains if travelling to Inner West stations.
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction. From 3am to 11.30am, buses replace trains between Waterfall and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Sutherland and Bondi Junction.
• T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via Regents Park, and between Schofields and Olympic Park. Change at: Lidcombe for trains towards Schofields or Leppington, or Cabramatta or Granville for buses to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford or Merrylands. Early morning or late-night trains will run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Central, platforms 1-14.
• T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
• Blue Mountains Line: Some trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Blacktown and Lidcombe.
• South Coast Line: From 3am to 11.30am, buses replace trains between Dapto, Port Kembla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry, Kiama and Dapto, and T4 Illawarra trains run between Sutherland and Bondi Junction. The first train to South Coast Line stations leave Bondi Junction at 10:13, Wollongong at 12:08, arriving Kiama at 12:52.
• Southern Highlands Line: From 4.40am to 5.30pm, buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Campbelltown. T8 Airport & South Line trains run between Campbelltown and the City via the Airport. The 16:05 Moss Vale to Campbelltown train will continue to run, leaving Moss Vale at 16:49 and run up to 47 minutes later than the normal timetable.

The closest bus stops to the Stadium are along the Princes Highway at Kogarah Park.

Bus route 958 operates between Kogarah and Hurstville via Carss Park. Bus route 476 and 477 run to Gray Street, Kogarah, which is a short walk to St George Venues Jubilee Stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line 

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

From Central, change for a train to Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. 

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines 

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Service changes: 

• On weekends from 5pm L2/L3 services will not run between Town Hall and Circular Quay due to road closures for Vivid Sydney. 

From Central, change for a train to Carlton on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Alight at Parramatta Square and catch a train service from Parramatta Station to Redfern or Central where you can connect with a T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line train to Carlton. 

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic is expected to be heavy in both directions on the Princes Highway approaching Kogarah as crowds travel to and from the stadium.  

Local roads around the stadium will close ahead of kick-off, including Jubilee Avenue, Park Street and English Street. Roads will re-open once crowds have cleared the area. 

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time and plan to arrive early.

Local parking

There is no parking available at St George Venues Jubilee Stadium. There are various car parks within easy walking distance of Carlton and Kogarah Stations:

• Kogarah Town Square, entry via Derby Street 
• Kogarah Town Centre, entry via ramp from Railway Parade 
• Hospital car park, entry via Belgrave Street 
• Kogarah Station commuter car park, entry via Railway Street 
• Carlton Station commuter car park, entry via Railway Parade

Accessible parking

A dedicated accessible drop-off/pick-up zone is located next to Gate A on Park Street, access via English Street. A limited number of accessible parking spots are also available along Park Street, for those that hold a mobility parking scheme permit.
