School service bus changes in North West Sydney from Monday 19 May
From Monday 19 May, we’ll be making some changes to regular services and dedicated school buses across North West Sydney.
There will be timetable changes and extended routes. This is to provide students living in Melonba, The Ponds, Elara Estate and Cranbrook with improved travel options to and from schools.

Changes by route

A morning peak service of bus route 677 will have timetable change and route adjustment, to operate via The Richmond Agricultural Centre and Western Sydney University.

Melonba High and Melonba Public Schools will have changes to select bus route 747 and 748 trips in the mornings and afternoons to improve travel options for students located in Melonba and Elara Estate.

Bus will no longer operate on Greens Road between the South Sydney Juniors Resort and Wheelbarrow Road as this section of Road is not suitable for a full size bus.

Bus will no longer stop on Terry Road, Rouse Hill. No students living in this area or using this stop.

Route 5501 will include a new stop at Richmond Agricultural Centre and will no longer divert via Richmond High School.

Bus will now operate via The Ponds, serving more of Hambledon Road, Mountain Drive and Ridgeline Drive between Mountain Drive and Stanhope Parkway.
Route will no longer operate along Barnier Drive between Hambledon Road and Wakley Avenue.

The Australian Christian college afternoon bus route 6622 has been withdrawn and replaced with two new services. The new afternoon services, bus routes 6623 and 6624 will help meet student demand for these services.
Some students may need to walk home from a different bus stop than they did previously.
The two services will help meet student demand and reduce overcrowding in the afternoons.
There may also be a small increase to their journey time.

The Australian Christian College will have two new afternoon school buses to better meet demand and provide students in Melonba better travel options.
