Important Travel Advice
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.
Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station.
Please note from 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe and between Lidcombe and Central. City Circle trackwork may also affect your trip. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
If you have to drive, travel with your group and pre-book your parking online – available until 11:59pm the night before the event.
Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as attendees travel to and from the show during the busy evening peak. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.
More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Change at Epping or Central for trains towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

The closest station to Qudos Bank Arena is Olympic Park.
Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until 12.30am.
To help you get to the event, the following additional services will also run:
- Leaving Blacktown at 5.38pm - stopping at Parramatta, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
- Leaving Liverpool at 5.45pm - stopping at Cabramatta, all stations to Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park

Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Tuesday 4 November on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- City Circle: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains do not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel around the City use metro, T4 trains, light rail or local buses. Light rail services run between Central and Circular Quay. Trackwork also affects trains on other lines.
- T1 North Shore Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run between Berowra and Wynyard only, some to a changed timetable. Trains do not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle. Use metro services between Chatswood, Crows Nest or Victoria Cross and the City, or change at Wynyard for the light rail. T1 Western and T9 Northern Line trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-14.
- T1 Western Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-14 only, making extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Burwood. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local buses to continue your journey. From 9.30pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Riverstone. Trains run to a changed timetable between Riverstone and Leppington. Change at Parramatta for trains towards the City.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and Central, platforms 1-14, making extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Some T9 trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services to continue your journey.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From to 1.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and Central, platforms 1-14, making extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Some T9 trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services to continue your journey.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 9.40pm to 2.30am, buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction. Some trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
- T5 Cumberland Line: From 9.30pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Riverstone. Trains run to a changed timetable between Riverstone and Leppington.
- T8 Airport & South Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains via the Airport start and end at Central due to City Circle trackwork. T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. T4 trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
- T9 Northern Line: From 9.50pm to 2am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Eastwood. Trains run to a changed timetable between Eastwood and Central. Metro services run between Epping and the City. Some trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local buses to continue your journey.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 9.45pm to 2am, trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Hornsby only. Buses replace T9 trains between Hornsby and Eastwood. Express buses also run between Hornsby and Strathfield. T1 trains run between Hornsby and the City via Chatswood. Buses replace the 01:47 Central to Newcastle Interchange service on Wednesday from Central to Hornsby. This bus leaves Central at 1.23am, 24 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable

The following Sydney buses services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs from Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Qudos Bank Arena is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park but services are popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you're planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.
Please note, F3 Parramatta River ferries between Parramatta and Rydalmere may be affected by low tide and replaced by buses, check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using Trip Planner.
Partial Line closure for planned maintenance 1-7 November
- Due to planned maintenance L1 Dulwich Hill Line services will not run between Central Grand Concourse and Convention from Saturday 1 to Friday 7 November
- Daily from 5am to 1am, L1 replacement bus services will stop at Central Grand Concourse, Exhibition Centre (towards Central) Convention and The Star with a frequency of 15-20 minutes
- Replacement buses will not stop at Capitol Square, Paddy’s Markets, Exhibition Centre or Pyrmont Bay. Use local buses or walk to Central Grand Concourse or Convention to continue your journey.
- L1 light rail services will continue to run between Convention and Dulwich Hill

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Change at Central for trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching Sydney Olympic Park as attendees travel to and from the show, particularly during the busy evening peak. Travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road.
If you have to drive, carpool with your group, Pre-book your parking ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.
Changed traffic conditions

Visit Sydney Olympic Park - Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the event. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time. Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
If you haven’t pre-booked, follow the variable message signs within Sydney Olympic Park to the best available casual parking.
Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct.
