L1 Dulwich Hill line light rail services run between Central Grand Concourse and Dulwich Hill. Catch the L1 light rail service to the Leichhardt North stop, which is a short walk to Leichhardt Oval via Mary Street.

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 9 November on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:
- T1 Western Line: From 4am to 9am, trains may run to a changed timetable. Some trains make an extra stop at Homebush. Richmond trains run between Richmond and Liverpool only. Change at Parramatta for trains towards the City
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: from 4am to 9am, Inner West trains run between Rhodes and the City, to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Trains from the City do not stop at Macdonaldtown, Newtown, Petersham and Lewisham. Trains to the City will continue to stop between Ashfield and Central. Buses run from Central to Ashfield, in that direction only.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: from 4am to 9am, trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. Until 9am, Inner West trains run between Rhodes and the City, to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Trains from the City do not stop at Macdonaldtown, Newtown, Petersham and Lewisham. Trains to the City will continue to stop between Ashfield and Central. Buses run from Central to Ashfield, in that direction only.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: From 4am to 9am, trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T8 Airport & South Line: From 8.40am to 3pm, buses replace the all-stations trains between Wolli Creek and Revesby. Express trains continue to run but do not stop at stations between Padstow and Turrella.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. Trains run between Mount Victoria and Central, some to a changed timetable. Daily from 5.20am to 10pm, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Penrith. Buses also replace some Bathurst trains. The 20:24 Central to Lithgow will be the first train to run towards Lithgow. The 21:18 Mount Victoria to Central will be the first train to run towards the City.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 10.20pm to 1am, buses replace trains from Hornsby to Wyong, in that direction only. Trains run to a changed timetable from Central to Hornsby, and from Wyong to Newcastle Interchange. Train to the City run to a normal timetable. The 00:48 Central to Wyong service runs to a changed timetable and extends to Newcastle Interchange.
- South Coast Line: from 2.30am to 9.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. The 02:39 Kiama to Bondi Junction service will run up to 14 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Kiama to Coniston, then run to the normal timetable from Wollongong to Bondi Junction

Catch one of the many ferry services to Circular Quay. From here, change for a train to Central where you can connect with L1 Dulwich Hill light rail services towards Leichhardt from the Grand Concourse.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Catch the L1 Line light rail service to Leichhardt North, which is a short walk to the oval via Mary Street.
L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). From Central, change to the L1 Line light rail service leaving from the Grand Concourse to get to Leichhardt North, which is a short walk to the oval via Mary Street.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, change to an L1 Line service leaving from the Grand Concourse to get to Leichhardt North.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching Leichhardt Oval as fans travel to the match. Allow extra travel time on roads including James Street, Perry Street, Balmain Road, Mary Street and Glover Street.
A section of Mary Street may be close before the game and will reopen when crowds have cleared the area. Traffic will be detoured via Chapel Street if the closure is in place.
