With around 70,000 football fans expected to attend Chelsea F.C. v Tottenham Hotspur game, ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays.
Transport:
- Hundreds of additional trains and buses will run to Olympic Park for the game.
- Travel on all modes of public transport is included in your match ticket, simply show your match ticket to transport staff when boarding services. See the Olympic Park transport map (pdf 601KB) to find your way.
- Express trains will run frequently from Central to Olympic Park from mid-afternoon, with frequent return services after the game. Trains will also run regularly between Lidcombe and Olympic Park. From Olympic Park station, the stadium is a short 10-minute walk away.
- Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes every 5 to 20 minutes between 3:35pm and 6:44pm depending on the route. Last return bus leaves Olympic Park at 11pm. See the major event bus route map (pdf 230KB).
- Please note there will be changes to Major Event Bus Route 8 stops effective from 1 August. Some stops in Cherrybrook, Telopea and West Pennant Hills will close and be replaced by new alternative stops nearby.

If you have no other option but to drive, you must have pre-booked parking:
- Do not drive unless you have pre-booked parking. Pre-book online ahead of time to secure a space. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
- If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
- If you haven't pre-booked, consider parking at a nearby station commuter carpark and continuing your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.
- Be aware that when leaving after the match, traffic will be very heavy as everyone will be leaving at the same time, so expect to allow up to an hour additional travel time exiting car parks.

If you're getting dropped off/picked up or catching rideshare and taxis:
- Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Ave near Park St.
- After the match, demand for taxis and rideshare will be high and prices are likely to be surging. Avoid the traffic delays while roads are closed by considering catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.
Ticket entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to Chelsea F.C. v Tottenham Hotspur game at Accor Stadium on Saturday 1 August include travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following public transport services – just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on public transport until 4am the following day.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to Chelsea F.C. v Tottenham Hotspur include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning until late at night.
Change at Central to connect with express trains running to Olympic Park. Alternatively, you can connect with Major Event Buses to Olympic Park from Metro North West stations, details below.

Connect with Major Event Buses
Connect with Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses routes 1A, 1B, 5A and 5B from the following North West Metro stations to get to the match:
- Route 1A: Chatswood and North Ryde stations
- Route 1B: Macquarie Park Station
- Route 5A: Hills Showground and Castle Hill stations
- Route 5B: Tallawong, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista and Norwest stations
Commuter Car Parks
If you have to drive consider parking at one of the commuter car parks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Buses Route 5A or 5B to Olympic Park.
Large commuter car parks are located at the following stations:
- Tallawong – 1000 spaces
- Kellyville – 1,389 parking spaces, including 97 accessible car spaces. A temporary overflow car park has opened at the corner of Decora Drive and Darani Avenue, offering 150 extra spaces until mid-2026.
- Bella Vista – 800 spaces
- Hills Showground – 600 spaces

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. From the station, it’s a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevarde to the stadium.
Express trains from Central to Olympic Park and regular services to Lidcombe will run frequently before and after the match to get you there and home again.
Travel on trains is included in your match ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services.
Getting there:
- From Central: special express trains will run every 7 to 8 minutes from 4pm to 5.30pm and then every 6 minutes until 9.30pm stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park.
- Trains also run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
- Penrith/Blacktown: Additional services will run every 15 minutes from 4pm to 9.30pm stopping all stations to Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta and Olympic Park.
- From Campbelltown: Additional services will leave Campbelltown at 5:38pm, 5:53pm and 6:08pm stopping all stations to Granville, Auburn and Olympic Park
- Central Coast Line: An additional service will leave Newcastle at 6:27pm stopping at Wyong, Tuggerah, Gosford, Woy Woy, Hornsby, Epping, Strathfield and Central.
Getting Home
- To Central: express trains will leave Olympic Park every 5 minutes from 10:30pm to 12.30am, stopping at Strathfield, Redfern then Central.
- To the west (Blacktown, Schofields and Penrith): trains will leave Olympic Park every 7 to 8 minutes from 10:30pm until 12:30am stopping at Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead and Seven Hills, then all stations to Blacktown, Schofields or Penrith. Schofields train will stop at Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead, Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Toongabbie, Seven Hills, Blacktown, then all stations to Schofields.
- To Campbelltown: Additional services will leave Lidcombe at 10pm and 10:52pm stopping at Auburn, Granville then all stations to Campbelltown.
- To Central Coast: Additional services will leave Central at 11:18pm stopping at Strathfield, Epping, Hornsby, Berowra then all stations to Newcastle Interchange.
- Blue Mountains Line: Additional services will leave Central at 10:24pm and 11:24pm and will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.
- South Coast Line: An additional service will leave Central at 11:43pm stopping at Redfern, Wolli Creek, Hurstville, Sutherland, Waterfall and all stations to Wollongong.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs for the Chelsea F.C. v Tottenham Hotspur game on Saturday 1 August.

- Route 5A from Hills Showground Station: first bus departs at 4:14pm, last bus departs at 6:44pm.
- Route 5B from Tallawong Station: first bus departs at 4:04pm, last bus departs at 6:30pm.
- Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 3:54pm last bus departs at 6:24pm.
- Route 7 from Shark Park Cronulla: first bus departs at 3.35pm, last bus departs at 6:05pm.
- Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 4:04pm, last bus departs at 6:35pm.
- From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the match, with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 11.00pm.
Routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 4 drop off and pick up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue.
Routes 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and 8 drop off and pick up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Qudos Bank Arena.

- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Lidcombe via Newington – change at Lidcombe to connect with trains to Olympic Park.
- Route 526 runs from the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf to Olympic Park
- Route 533 runs from Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde
Bus Diversions
Roads will close in the Sydney Olympic park precinct during this event. While roads are closed, route 526 and 533 services will be diverting.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Train Station Commuter Parking
A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching one of the extra trains to Olympic Park.
Stations with large car parks on the western line where you can change for a frequent direct train to Olympic Park include:
- T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.
Stations with large car parks on other train lines that require one interchange by train to get to Olympic Park include:
