2026 Bus service changes

From Sunday 15 November through to December 2026 we’ll be making changes to some bus services across greater Sydney, outer metropolitan and regional NSW.

Timetable and route changes, including new routes, will better connect communities with employment hubs, transport and essential services. They will also provide more frequent, reliable and sustainable transport options.

The changes are addressing the rise in demand for more bus services across Sydney and regional NSW, with a focus on increasing the number of services and accelerating the rollout of new buses on roads across NSW.

We encourage passengers to plan ahead and check how changes may affect your journey by using Trip Planner, the Opal Travel app or other trip planning apps.
