New Bus Services for Western Sydney
From Sunday 5 July, new electric buses and new bus routes will arrive in Western Sydney, making it easier to swap the car for a bus.
Transport for NSW is introducing new bus services to connect Penrith, Oran Park, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Mount Druitt and Leppington with local centres, the Western Sydney International Airport, and in the future, to the emerging Bradfield City Centre. Buses will operate seven days a week between 5am to 10pm, departing every 30 minutes.
The new services have been carefully planned and aim to connect people to the places that matter most, including local education and health precincts, retail and leisure centres, and the broader public transport network. These services make it easier for residents, commuters and visitors to access work, education and recreational opportunities across a rapidly growing Western Sydney.
Western Sydney International (WSI) Airport
WSI Airport will be open to passengers and the public from October 2026. However, commencing from Sunday 5 July many of these new services will provide the opportunity for staff and workers across Western Sydney to commute to and from the Airport. Should you wish to interchange for any other services, you can do so at the WSI Airport bus interchange.
