Two new 24/7 bus services for Western Sydney
From Sunday 21 June, two new frequent 24-hour bus services will start, providing direct links for passengers in Western Sydney. Route 52 will connect Parramatta, Ryde and the Sydney CBD, while Route 80 will connect Parramatta and Liverpool via the T-way.
Return of direct link between Parramatta and the CBD
Following community feedback, a direct bus link between Parramatta, Ryde and the Sydney CBD will return with a frequent 24-hour service.
Route 52 will run via Victoria Road and operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services will run every:
- 10 minutes during the day
- 20 minutes in the early morning and late evening
- 30 minutes overnight
- 10 minutes during the day
- 20 minutes in the early morning and late evening
- 60 minutes overnight
To meet demand, Route 52 will use high-capacity bendy buses, including 13 of the 50 new buses being rolled out across Sydney’s busiest routes.
Updates to the T80
The T80 will become Route 80, operating as a 24-hour service, seven days a week between Parramatta and Liverpool via the T-way.
