Event Ticket Entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to the Bledisloe Cup Test: Wallabies v All Blacks at Accor Stadium on Saturday 21 September include travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following public transport services – just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services: 

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
• Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses
• Sydney Metro services.
• Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to the Bledisloe Cup Test include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham.  Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night.

Weekend Trackwork – Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September: Buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood. Metro continues to run between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham. T9 Northern and Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains run to the normal timetable between Epping and Central.

From the north west, catch a metro rail replacement bus to Epping to connect with trains towards Strathfield then services to Olympic Park. From the south, catch metro to Central to connect with trains to Olympic Park 

Alternatively, you can connect with a Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus at the following Metro stations:

• Route 1A: Chatswood and North Ryde stations
• Route 1B: Macquarie Park Station
• Route 5A: Hills Showground and Castle Hill stations
• Route 5B: Tallawong, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista and Norwest stations

Commuter Car Parks

Consider parking your car at commuter carparks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Buses Route 5A or 5B to Olympic Park.

Large commuter carparks are located at the following stations:

• Tallawong – 1000 spaces
• Kellyville – 1360 spaces
• Bella Vista – 800 spaces
• Hills Showground – 600 spaces
• Cherrybrook – 400 spaces

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. From the station, it’s a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevarde to the Stadium. 

• Due to Planned Industrial Action this weekend, train services may run to a reduced frequency across the network and services may be cancelled at short notice.
• Train service plans for major events including Bledisloe Cup are under development, and details will be available as soon as possible.

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 21 September on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

• M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line: Buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood. Metro continues to run between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham. T9 Northern and Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains run to the normal timetable between Epping and Central.
• T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Buses also replace T8 Airport & South Line trains between Glenfield and Sydenham. Trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur and the City via Granville or Regents Park. Inner West trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and the City via Regents Park, or between Homebush and the City.
• T3 Bankstown Line from Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 September: Buses replace trains between Lidcombe, Bankstown and Campsie. Trains run between Liverpool and the City via Regents Park, and between Campsie and the City, some to a changed timetable. If travelling between the City and Birrong, Yagoona or Bankstown, catch a train to Lidcombe, then change for a bus. If travelling between the City and Berala, Regents Park, Sefton, Chester Hill, Leightonfield, Villawood or Carramar, catch a direct train. 
• T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Schofields or Richmond.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Glenfield and Sydenham. Change at Sydenham for train or metro services to the City, or change at Wolli Creek for trains to the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur and the City via Granville or Regents Park, and between Turrella and the City Circle via the Airport.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs for the Bledisloe Cup Test on Saturday 21 September.

Travel on these Major Event Buses is included in your match ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services. 

Service Times – Saturday 21 September

• To Olympic Park: services will run every 5 to 18 minutes between 12.06pm and 2.33pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
  • Route 1A from Narrabeen Lakes: first bus departs at 12.06pm, last bus departs at 2.06pm.
  • Route 1B from Warriewood B-Line: first bus departs at 12.12pm, last bus departs at 2.12pm.
  • Route 2 from Glebe Point: first bus departs at 12.33pm, last bus departs at 2.33pm.
  • Route 4 from Maroubra Beach: first bus departs at 12.10pm, last bus departs at 2.10pm.
  • Route 5A from Hills Showground Station: first bus departs at 12.44pm, last bus departs at 2.44pm.
  • Route 5B from Tallawong Station: first bus departs at 12.28pm, last bus departs at 2.28pm.
  • Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 12.30pm, last bus departs at 2.30pm.
  • Route 7 from Shark Park Cronulla: first bus departs at 12.11pm, last bus departs at 2.11pm.
  • Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 12.38pm, last bus departs at 2.38pm.
• From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the match, with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 6.30pm.

Routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 4 drop-off and pick-up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue.

Routes 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and 8 drop-off and pick-up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Qudos Bank Arena.

Major Event Bus Routes

Note: Wheelchair accessible buses will travel on each route, you can also see accessible services in the Trip Planner identified by the wheelchair icon.

Regular Route Buses

The following Sydney Buses run to Olympic Park:  

• Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington   
• Route 526 runs between Burwood and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.   
• Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.  

Bus Diversions

Route 525 and 526 services will be diverting from 1.30am until 11.30pm on Saturday 21 September due to road closures within Sydney Olympic Park.

Services in both directions will be diverting via Edwin Flack Ave, Sarah Durack Ave and Australia Ave, and will miss stops on Dawn Fraser Ave and Park St. Catch these services from the stop on Park St at Olympic Park train station or other alternative stop locations on Edwin Flack Ave. Check signs at stops for details.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity – particularly during peak travel times or when multiple events are taking place within the precinct. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

F3 Parramatta River ferries between Parramatta and Rydalmere may be affected by low tide and replaced by buses, check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for trains to Lidcombe to connect with shuttle trains to Olympic Park.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for trains to Lidcombe to connect with shuttle trains to Olympic Park.

With multiple events taking place in the precinct, a combined crowd of up to 100,000 expected in Sydney Olympic Park across the day. Significant delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct.  

Rugby fans should leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid the traffic delays. Match tickets include travel on public transport. 

If you're driving, it’s essential that you pre-book your parking online to secure a space – parking is selling fast and remaining spots are limited. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct and entering carparks. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time on the M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Road, Silverwater Road, Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road and Epping Road. 

To get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.  

Avoid the delays and arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment.

If you're getting dropped off/picked up or catching rideshare and taxis:

• The nearest Taxi Rank to Accor Stadium is at Herb Elliott Avenue at Park Street. 
• Remember that roads will be closed within the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time due to the increased traffic expected in the area before and after the match.   
• After the match, demand for Taxis and rideshare will be high and prices are likely to be surging. Avoid the traffic delays while roads are closed by considering catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.

Sydney Olympic Park Car Parks

If you're driving, it’s essential that you pre-book your parking online to secure a space – parking is selling fast and remaining spots are limited. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct and entering carparks. Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space, a flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.  

If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time. Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout. 

If you have not pre-booked a space, do not drive – there will be no casual parking available in the precinct.  

Be aware that after the match, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour additional travel time exiting car parks or avoid the delays by staying in the precinct and enjoying many of the venues that will stay open after the match. 

Train Station Commuter Parking

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching a train to Olympic Park.

Stations with large car parks on the that require one interchange by train to get to Olympic Park include:

• T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, St Marys, Emu Plains and Penrith.
• T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
• T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Leppington and Edmonson Park. 
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Tickets to the Bledisloe Cup Test include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Accessible pick up and drop off

A designated accessible pick up and drop off area will be located on Dawn Fraser Avenue at corner of Edwin Flack Avenue, within the road closure. Entry via Edwin Flack Ave. Traffic controllers on site will manage access in and out of the designated area.
