Important Travel Advice
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time for the Pearl Jam concerts taking place on Thursday 21 & Saturday 23 November.
Travel on public transport is included in your concert ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services.
On Thursday
- Express and limited-stop event trains will run from Central and other key stations to Olympic Park, with frequent return services after the show.
On Saturday
- Express event trains will run from Central to Olympic Park, with frequent return services after the show. Trains will also run regularly to Lidcombe where you can change for shuttle services to Olympic Park running every 10 minutes.
- Planned weekend trackwork is still taking place on parts of the Train and Metro Network.
- A limited Major Event Bus service will also run on 5 routes only. Buses will run to Olympic Park every 10 – 20 minutes between 3.35pm and 6.53pm, depending on the route. These include Routes 1A and 1B from the Northern Beaches, Route 5B from Tallawong, Route 6 from Sutherland via Bankstown and Route 8 from Dural. Allow plenty of extra travel time as bus services are limited. Routes 2, 4, 5A and 7 will not operate due to limited bus availability. Note not all buses will be accessible.
- Consider driving to a commuter car park near train stations or major event bus stops and continue your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park.
Parking:
- Limited casual parking will be available for Thursday. If you have pre-booked have your ticket ready to show at the parking gates.
- Pre-booked parking for Saturday is selling fast. If you need to drive, carpool with your group and pre-book your parking online – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.
Significant traffic delays are expected during the busy Thursday evening peak, fans who have to drive should allow plenty of extra travel time and aim to arrive early. Delays are also expected on Saturday. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Ticket entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to Pearl Jam at ENGIE Stadium on Thursday 21 and Saturday 23 November includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses (Saturday 23 November only)
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your concert ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to Pearl Jam 2024 include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.
If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night.
Please note that planned weekend trackwork is taking place on the M1 Metro line between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November.
Metro services will operate between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Change at Chatswood or Epping to connect with train services towards Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

The closest station to ENGIE Stadium is Olympic Park.
On Thursday, express and limited stop trains will be running to get you to and from the show. The stadium is a short walk from Olympic Park station.
On Saturday, express and limited-stop event trains will be running from Central to Olympic Park, with frequent return services after the show.

Getting there
- From Central: express trains will run every 15 minutes from 5:15pm to 10pm, stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park
- Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
- From Campbelltown: an additional service will leave Campbelltown at 6:07pm, stopping all stations to Liverpool, Cabramatta then Olympic Park via Regents Park
- From Schofields: an additional service will leave Schofields at 6:30pm, stopping all stations to Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Auburn and Olympic Park.
- From Gosford: an additional service will leave Gosford at 4:46pm, stopping Woy Woy, Strathfield and Central.
- From Blue Mountains: services will stop at Lidcome between 5pm and 8pm.
Getting home
- From Olympic Park to Central: express services will run approx. every 8 minutes from Olympic Park to Central from 10pm to 1am stopping at Strathfield and Redfern.
- From Lidcombe to Macarthur: An additional service to Macarthur will leave from Lidcombe at 11:55pm stopping Auburn, Granville then all stations to Macarthur.
- To Newcastle: additional Newcastle services will leave Olympic Park at 10:59pm and 11:59pm, stopping at Strathfield, Redfern, Central, then all stations to Chatswood, Gordon, Hornsby, Berowra then all stations to Newcastle Interchange.
- To the South Coast: An additional South Coast service will leave from Central at 11:53pm, stopping at Redfern, Wolli Creek, Hurstville, Sutherland, Waterfall, Helensburgh, Thirroul, North Wollongong, Wollongong, Unanderra, Dapto then all stations to Kiama.
- Blue Mountains services will stop at Lidcombe from 11pm until end of service.

- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Nightly from 9.50pm to 2.30am, buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.
- T9 Northern Line: Nightly from 9.50pm to 2am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Eastwood. Trains run between Eastwood and the City, to a changed timetable. Metro services run between Epping and the City. Most Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains run to a changed timetable via the T1 North Shore Line, making extra stops at Gordon, Chatswood, then all stations to Central. From 4pm to 7.30pm, some trains between Hornsby, Epping and Central run to changed timetable.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Nightly from 9.50pm to 3am, trains run to a changed timetable via the T1 North Shore Line, making extra stops at Gordon, Chatswood, then all stations to Central. Trackwork also affects trains on the T9 Northern Line. Buses run between Strathfield and Hornsby to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains. Trains towards Newcastle Interchange run up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable. Buses replace the 01:47 Central to Newcastle Interchange service from Central to Hornsby.
- Hunter Line: Buses replace trains between Scone and Maitland.Trains between Dungog, Maitland and Newcastle Interchange may run to a changed timetable.
- South Coast Line: From 9.20am to 2.15pm, buses replace trains between Port Kembla and Wollongong. Buses towards Wollongong may leave stations up to 15 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable.
Saturday 23 November
- M1 Metro Line: Metro services run between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use train services between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham.
- T1 Western Line: Richmond trains run between Richmond and Parramatta only. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City. Penrith trains run to a changed timetable and make an extra stop at Harris Park.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Macarthur, Glenfield and Fairfield. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and the City via the Airport, and between Fairfield and the City via Granville. Buses also replace T3 trains between Cabramatta and Lidcombe via Regents Park. From 9.40pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday, buses also replace trains between Leppington and East Hills. Trains run between East Hills and the City, to a changed timetable.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Liverpool, Cabramatta and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Trains run between Lidcombe and the City, some to a changed timetable. Inner West trains run between Homebush and the City. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. Buses also replace trains between Macarthur, Liverpool and Fairfield.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Glenfield and Fairfield. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Fairfield and the City via Granville, between Richmond and Parramatta, and between Penrith and Granville. Trains also run between Leppington and the City via the Airport. You may need to change services to continue your journey. From 9.40pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday, buses also replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Buses replace trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe. Buses also replace T3 trains between Liverpool and Lidcombe.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Macarthur, Glenfield and Fairfield. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington or Revesby and the City via the Airport. From 9.40pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday, buses also replace trains between Leppington and East Hills. Trains run between East Hills and the City via the Airport, to a changed timetable.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 6am to 11am, at Cowan, all trains leave from platform 2.
- South Coast Line: From 7.30am to 11.30am, at Bulli, Woonona, Bellambi and Corrimal, all trains leave from platform 1. From 12pm to 4pm, at Corrimal, Bellambi, Woonona and Bulli, all trains leave from platform 2
- Southern Highlands Line: Buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Glenfield. You may need to change buses to continue your journey. T8 Airport & South Line trains run to a changed timetable between Glenfield and the City. From 9.40pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday, buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and East Hills. T8 Airport & South Line trains run to a changed timetable between East Hills and the City.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses
A limited major event bus service will run for the Pearl Jam concert on Saturday night, 23 November on five routes only. Major event buses will not operate on Thursday 21 November.
Travel on major event buses is included in your concert ticket – simply show your ticket to the bus driver when boarding services.
- A limited Major Event Bus service will run on 5 routes to and from Sydney Olympic Park. Services are limited, allow yourself plenty of extra travel time.

- To Olympic Park: services will run every 10 – 20 minutes between 3.35pm and 6.53pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 5pm until 7.45pm.
- Route 1A from Narrabeen Lakes: first bus departs at 3.35pm, last bus departs at 6.20pm.
- Route 1B from Warriewood B-Line: first bus departs at 3.42pm, last bus departs at 6.27pm.
- Route 5B from Tallawong: first bus departs at 3.58pm, last bus departs at 6.43pm.
- Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 3.54pm, last bus departs at 6.39pm.
- Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 4.08pm, last bus departs at 6.53pm.
- From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the show, with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 11.30pm.
Routes 1A and 1B drop off and pick up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue.
Routes 5B, 6 and 8 drop off and pick up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Qudos Bank Arena.
Regular Route Buses
The following route buses make stops at Sydney Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Burwood and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.
Buses will be diverting due to road closures in the precinct.

The closest wharf to ENGIE Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

If you’re using taxis or rideshare, remember that roads may be closed within the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time due to the increased traffic expected in the precinct before and after the event.
When leaving, choose a pick-up location away from the immediate area around the stadium to avoid delays.
Demand for rideshare will be high and prices are likely to be surging. Avoid the traffic delays while roads are closed and consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct instead to catch rideshare.

Sydney Olympic Park Car Parks
Parking for Thursday and Saturday is selling fast. If you need to drive, carpool with your group and pre-book your parking online – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time. Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct.

Train Station Commuter Parking
A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching one of the extra trains to Olympic Park.
Stations with large car parks on the western line where you can change for a frequent direct train to Olympic Park include:
- T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.
Stations with large car parks on other train lines that require one interchange by train to get to Olympic Park include:
- T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
