Match Ticket Entitlements 

Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2025 NRL season home games at CommBank Stadium include travel to and from CommBank Stadium on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding: 

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)  
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses  
• Sydney Metro services  
• Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services  
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries  

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day. 

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements. 

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks 

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.  

Tickets to 2025 NRL season home games at CommBank Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Central for a trains towards Parramatta. Alternatively change at Epping for a bus, or for a train service to Strathfield to connect with trains to Parramatta. 

Due to planned weekend trackwork buses replace trains between Penrith, Richmond and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Granville and the City. If you’re travelling from the west catch replacement buses to Parramatta. If you're travelling from the city, change at Granville for buses to Parramatta. Allow extra travel time and plan ahead.

The closest station to CommBank Stadium is Parramatta.

• If you’re travelling from the west catch replacement buses to Parramatta.
• If you're travelling from the city, change at Granville for buses to Parramatta.

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 22 June on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner. 

• T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Penrith, Richmond and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Granville and the City. Buses also run between some T1 Western Line stations and Tallawong. Frequent metro services run between Tallawong and the City. Some trains make an extra stop at Burwood. 
• T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 10pm Saturday to 6am Sunday, trains run to a reduced frequency and to a changed timetable and stopping pattern, making an extra stop at Olympic Park. From 6.20am to 10.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Leppington trains make extra stops at Homebush and Croydon. Some T1 trains make an extra stop at Burwood. 
• T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 10pm Saturday to 6am Sunday, trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe, and between Homebush and the City only. T2 trains stop at Flemington. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. From 6.20am to 10.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. Limited stop trains continue to run between Lidcombe and Central. 
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham, Central and Bondi Junction. Trackwork buses do not leave from Martin Place Station. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall or Cronulla and Sydenham only. Change at Wolli Creek for trains to the City Circle via the Airport, Sydenham for metro services to Central, Martin Place or Gadigal (Town Hall), or buses to St Peters, Erskineville or Redfern, Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff, or metro services to Martin Place and Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction.  
• T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Richmond and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Granville. 
• T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Buses replace trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe. Buses also replace T3 trains between Liverpool, Cabramatta and Lidcombe. Change at Lidcombe for T1 or T2 trains towards the City or Parramatta; at Regents Park for T3 buses towards Cabramatta; at Bankstown for Southwest Link bus services towards Sydenham. Trackwork between Bankstown and Lidcombe continues until Sunday 29 June. 
• T8 Airport & South Line: The 06:40 Central to Macarthur train will run up to 6 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Glenfield to Macarthur. 
• Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Penrith and Granville. Trains from Penrith to Blue Mountains Line stations run up to 45 minutes later than the normal timetable. Bathurst trains continue to run between Bathurst and Central, to a changed timetable. If you are travelling to Lithgow to connect with NSW TrainLink Regional Coaches, please call 132 232 to confirm departure times. From 9.15pm Saturday to 7.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Springwood and Granville. Bathurst trains continue to run between Bathurst and Central, to a changed timetable. 
• South Coast Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Hurstville only. Change trains at Hurstville to continue your journey. Trackwork also affects T4 trains. Buses replace trains between Sydenham, Central and Bondi Junction.  From 2.30am to 9.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Hurstville, some to a changed timetable. The 02:39 Kiama to Bondi Junction service will run up to 17 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Kiama to Coniston, then run to the normal timetable from Wollongong to Hurstville. Trackwork also affects trains between Hurstville and Bondi Junction.

Regular Route Buses

A number of buses run to and from Parramatta Interchange, which is within a 15 minute walking distance of CommBank Stadium. Some buses also stop along O'Connell St outside the stadium.

Alternatively connect with L4 Light rail services from Parramatta Square at the station and get off at Prince Alfred Square to get within short walking distance of the stadium.

Bus Diversions

Roads around the stadium will close from 8pm until 8.30pm to allow crowds to leave the precinct safely, including sections of O’Connell Street, Ross Street and Victoria Road. 

The following bus stops will be closed and routes 546, 549, 550, 600, 601 and 606 will be diverting while the road closures are in place. See the CommBank Stadium road closure map (pdf 270KB) for more details and alternative bus stop locations: 

• Parramatta Leagues Club, O'Connell Street will be closed – alternative stop O’Connell Street opp Harold Street (for services towards the Hills and North West) 
• Our Lady of Mercy College, O'Connell Street will be closed – alternative stop O’Connell Street at Fennell Street (for services towards Parramatta Station) 
• Victoria Road after Villiers Street will be closed – alternative stop All Saints Anglican Church, Victoria Road (for services towards Parramatta Station) 
• Victoria Road before Marist Place will be closed – alternative stop O’Connell Street opp Harold Street (for services towards the Hills, Epping and Macquarie Park) 

Note: Victoria Road opp All Saints Anglican Church is open for services towards Central/Railway Square via Ryde.

The closest wharf to CommBank Stadium is Parramatta Wharf.

From the wharf, walk to the Robin Thomas light rail stop via the riverside and Argus Lane to connect with services to Prince Alfred Square to get within walking distance of CommBank Stadium.

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Parramatta but services are popular and may reach capacity. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

Please note, F3 Parramatta River ferries between Parramatta and Rydalmere may be affected by low tide and replaced by buses, check for updates here.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

The closest light rail stop to CommBank Stadium is Prince Alfred Square. Alight at Prince Alfred Square and continue on foot via Victoria Road to the stadium. See the CommBank Stadium transport and walking route map (pdf 3.9MB) to find your way. 

Additional light rail services will run before and after the event.

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings. 

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central to connect with T1 Western Line trains towards Parramatta to get within walking distance of the stadium.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Change at Central to connect with T1 Western Line trains towards Parramatta to get within walking distance of the stadium.

If you’re driving to the game, plan to arrive early as car parks in the area are expected to be in high demand. Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium during as fans travel to and from the match. Allow extra travel time on roads including Parramatta Road, Church Street, Victoria Road, James Ruse Drive and Pennant Hills Road. 

Motorists should also exercise caution as pedestrian activity will be high on roads between Parramatta Interchange and the stadium.  

Drivers are reminded that light rail services are running through Parramatta CBD. Trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so exercise extra caution when driving in the area. 

Road Closures

Roads around the stadium will close from 8pm until 8.30pm to allow crowds to safely leave the venue. Roads will re-open once crowds have cleared the area. 

• O’Connell Street from Grose Street to George Street 
• Ross Street from O’Connell Street to Trott Street 
• Victoria Road from O’Connell Street to Villiers Street 

While closures are in place motorists are encouraged to avoid driving through Parramatta CBD and detour around the closures via Grose Street, Brickfield Street, Victoria Road and Wilde Avenue in both directions.

Roads on approach to the stadium may be temporarily closed as crowds make their way to the game.

A taxi rank is located on the eastern side of Villiers Street between Ross Street and Victoria Road.

Note: O’Connell Street is a no-stopping zone. Taxis or any other vehicles are not permitted to drop off or pick up any passengers at any time.

Attendees who are being picked up or dropped off are encouraged to pre-plan a location away from the stadium to avoid traffic delays.

Parramatta Car Parks

Fans driving to the game should allow plenty of extra travel time as parking is expected to be in high demand. 

The following car parks are within walking distance of the stadium. There's no public parking available on-site at CommBank Stadium on game days:

• Eat Street Car Park, entry via George Street
• Justice Precinct Car Park, entry via Hunter Street
• Parramatta Station Car Park, entry via Wentworth Street
• Parramatta Leagues Club, O’Connell Street at Eels Place: Note pricing for the car park is dependent on if you are a Leagues Club Member (not a Football Club Member). Visit Parra Leagues Club for more info.

Attendees with mobility impairments or accessibility requirements can catch one of the regular route bus services that leave from bus stand A4 at Parramatta Interchange and make stops on O’Connell Street outside the stadium, including routes 600, 601, 603, 604, 606 and 706.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services are also accessible.
